Depression Glass Chat Groups and Forums
I joined two great chat groups and forums recently.
Chat About DG has a great discussion board where members can talk about glass and request help in identifying depression and elegant glass patterns. Resources include glass book reviews, links to glass museums, glass maintenance tips, and dictionaries for glass-lovers. Registration is required. The Glass Etch & Pattern Gallery contains a wealth of amazing photos organized by manufacturers. No registration is required to access the gallery.
All About Glass offers a wealth of information including book and website reviews, a “glassary” definition of terms, and FAQs about glass collecting. (Ever wonder what a black light is and how to use it?) Registration is required for the forums. Glass Forums include: Art Glass (i.e. Victorian, Contemporary), Pressed Glass (i.e. Depression, Elegant, Flint), Blown Glass, and Studio Glass.
Are you on Facebook? Check out my new group for “depression glass” collectors on Facebook.
Happy glassing!
