My Glass Shelf

… a blog for depression glass and elegant glassware collectors

Flickr groups for glass collectors

I’ve blogged about Flickr before, and how I use it to share photos of my glass inventory on this blog and with other collectors.

If you are looking to share your glass photos, need help IDing patterns, or just want to peruse other glass collections, take a look at these Flickr groups.  The pictures are sure to inspire!

Flickr Glass groups

Updated August 25, 2008
———————–

I’ve been using Flickr to organize my depression glass photos. Flickr is a photosharing tool which allows you to:

  • Upload photos via the web, iPhone, camera phone, or email.
  • Share photos with the world or keep them private and share them only with friends and family using guest passes.
  • Join groups where you can share photos with those who have similar interests.

I found two great glass groups on Flickr, each with an amazing pool of photos to browse:

Both groups are visible to non-Flickerites, but you’ll need to join if you wish to contribute photos.

You can also search Flickr for photos identified by the contributors as depression glass. Lot of great photos to view!

Happy glassing!
